The EverClimb Times - Introduction

The EVERCLIMB TIMES
By Jonathan Salem

I will keep this short today. I will answer questions from readers. Please email me your questions regarding holding climbing events, and get the advice you need. I have been in the industry since 1998. I was the first company to bring mobile style rock climbing to the Tampa region. In 1999, when I began promoting, no one had heard of mobile climbing. Today, its hard to meet people who have not heard of mobile climbing. A lot has changed in the perception of mobile rock climbing. In 1999, it was common to look at this as a dangerous sport, which made it hard to explain that your 4 year old child can climb using patented automatic redundant belay safety equipment.  What is that you say? That is our system for allowing climbers to always have optimal safety lines with absolutely no slack in their lines. Their lines are constantly tightened by automatic hydraulic pneumatic devices. Thus, when a climber begins to fall, he doesn't have to panic, because he is going to come down gently each time, for a landing you could practically call a pillow soft landing, but in reality, its not quite that soft, but its close enough.

I invite your questions, and I'll answer them here.

See you soon

Jon
